WHERE to buy in Dallas TX?Question:WHERE to buy in Dallas TX? We are moving to Dallas TX from Ann Arbor MI. Looking for our next home…and that’s all we need: 1. Four Bedroom House, Price $300000-$350000 2. Exemplary Schools 3. Close to DFW Airport (15 mi radius) We did some internet research and that’s all we found; there are 3 areas we may consider; 1. Southlake: Exemplary schools, BUT the price is too much for us. 2. Coppell: Only one High school but not exemplary, also new ‘Northlake’ development coming soon!! Nobody knows what will happen after new 4300 units built there. 3. Grapevine: Some area offers Carroll ISD but not sure about other schools. ANY OTHER SUGGESTION? HAVE WE MISSED ANYTHING? ![]() | Consider Corinth, TX - Excellent schools (Denton ISD), affordable housing, easy access to the airport (15-20 min on I35/SH121 and soon will be another bridge over the lake to take you to the airport via alt route) Another option: Flower Mound, TX - closer to the aiport, excellent choice of homes, very close to brand new shopping centers, fitness - LA fitness, Lifetime fitness, upscale wal-mart. Airport 15 min away. |
