 | The Dallas real estate market has been doing considerably well compared to other large markets in the US that have seen a housing slump. An article in our blog talks about how people are moving to the metroplex because of competitive Dallas home prices. Search the home listings to get a better idea of what's available in the area. |

| IMHO now is a time to conserve resources, perhaps for the next few months. The housing market in DFW is not historically subject to the intense and short term swings in price that are markets experience.
Foreclosed homes may be a different story. Banks are holding more property than they want to right now, and many of the properties have been abused by the angered outgoing residents.
There is an opportunity to get a great deal on a home that will need new carpet and wall repairs after being abused by the evicted residents. |

 | It is always a good time if you get the deal you want, the banks are beginning to move inventory and may be more motivated with some they are holding on to. Get a good agent who knows the market in Carrollton and start the process. It may take a while to get the deal you want but you will get an education on the market in Carrollton area. |
