About Greenville

Located just East of Highland Park and the SMU area and a few miles northeast of Deep Ellum, Greenville is commonly split in two distinct neighborhoods. The area South of Mockingbird lane is referred to as Lower Greenville while the area to the North is known as Upper Greenville. Lower Greenville (also called Lowest Greenville) is home to a vibrant nightlife with numerous bars, restaurants, and live music venues. Given its proximity to University Park apartments and condos, the area is a hotspot for SMU students who enjoy bar hoping up and down Greenville Avenue. Lower Greenville also has a yearly St. Patrick?s Day parade which is well known throughout all the various neighborhoods in Dallas. Upper Greenville real estate is a bit more upscale, and as a result, the homes, lofts, townhouses, and condos are more expensive. A great example of real estate in Upper Greenville is the recently developed Mockingbird Station which is a newly developed urban village with upscale lofts and restaurants. Commute

Unlike many of the further north suburbs, Greenville is only a few miles away from the Downtown Dallas and residents shouldn?t have to spend more than 10 minutes commuting to and from work. There is also a Dallas Area Transit Station right in the middle of the neighborhood which can get you almost anywhere in the city.
